Aj had a number of themed photos for her portfolio. The one that attracted me to her was shots of Audrey Hepburn - she was a huge fan of the American movie actor and her dress, jewellery, hair and demeanour was spot on.
With me she wanted to do a theme that was completely out of left field, and she settled on a vampire theme. The location was the fortifications at Middle Head due to all the little nooks and crannies that would make for good backdrops for a vampire. In most situations I used a 2 flash setup with umbrellas, one on either side of Aj at varying angles Occassionally a third flash in a snoot was used as a rim light.
Some of the images were converted to black and white.
